THE FOCUS

Our Nature & Purpose

The main emphasis of New Hope Christian Academy is upon the spiritual and educational growth of its students. To accomplish this, we believe that all subjects should be taught in the light of the Scriptures in keeping with the verse, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge” (Proverbs 1:7).


New Hope Christian Academy is dedicated to introducing each student to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and helping him/her to know that God has a plan and a purpose for their life. After reaching the students for Christ, our goal is to send them out as well-trained Christian leaders of tomorrow, serving in whatever area of life the Lord has called them. Our curriculum consists of Abeka Books. The present curriculum is planned to fulfill the State of Texas requirements for graduation.

We strive to grow devoted, lifetime followers of Jesus Christ through gospel-saturated environments.


Our mission is to partner with parents in engaging the mind through academic excellence and Biblical values by cultivating the heart (growth) through spiritual emphasis and acting in service for God and others.


We believe that it’s easier to train boys and girls than it is to repair men and women. It’s our desire at New Hope Christian Academy to have a school that trains our students with a foundation that is built upon Jesus Christ and upon His Word.


We want to see a generation of young people grow up with a firm foundation of what is Biblical and Gospel-Centric.


We know it is possible to Impact the World for Christ and we believe it starts with the training of our children through the unequivocal truths of God’s Word. God’s Word is our guide and our only foundation for what we do, say, and act, as well as how we live the life that God has enabled us to live.

HOW WE TRAIN

Our Objectives

  1. To prepare them spiritually by instilling in them personal responsibility and appreciation for the Lord Jesus Christ, God the Father, and the Holy Spirit.
  2. To encourage them to think clearly, logically, and independently in accordance with God’s Word.
  3. To offer an instructional program that meets the academic needs of the child.
  4. To develop an understanding of the world in which they live and the ability to appreciate and adjust to their environment.
  5. To achieve mastery in the tools of learning and communication.
  6. To develop a sense of responsibility in each child as a citizen and a Christian.
  7. To develop a moral, ethical, and spiritual sense which will aid them in personal worth and that of others.
  8. To provide opportunities for developing an understanding of and appreciation for the arts as well as contributing to them.
  9. To offer opportunities to participate in wholesome forms of recreation, and to prepare each child to serve well in the place of God’s will for his life, to prepare for spiritual leadership in the school, home, church, community, state, nation, and the world.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

Statement of Faith

  1. We believe the Bible to be the only inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God in the original text and the only rule of faith and practice. (II Timothy 3:16-17)
  2. We believe in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.(Matthew 28:19)
  3. We believe in the deity, virgin birth, and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ. (Colossians 1:13-20)
  4. We believe that salvation is by the grace of God alone, through faith in Jesus Christ. (Romans 3:23-26)
  5. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. (John 17:20-23)
  6. We believe that support and participation in the task of fulfilling the great commission is the responsibility of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. ( Matthew 28:19-20)
  7. We believe that the universe originated by the creative act of God as revealed in Holy Scripture. (Genesis 1:1)
  8. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved unto the resurrection of life and the lost unto the resurrection of damnation. (John 5:28-29)
  9. We believe that the term marriage has only one meaning: the uniting of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture (Genesis 2:18–25)
  10. We believe that God wonderfully foreordained and immutably created each person as either male or female in conformity with their biological sex. These two distinct yet complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God (Genesis 1:26–27).
  11. We believe every person must be afforded compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity (Mark 12:28-31; Luke 6:31). Hateful and harassing behavior or attitudes directed toward any individual are to be repudiated
